IS Support Services Associate

Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking for an IS Support Services Associate to join our team in Corbin, KY

Under general supervision provides highly responsive first and second-tier support to end-users for PC, server, applications and hardware. Utilizes reasoning ability to research and resolve issues related to hospital information systems. Ensures hospital information systems availability meets or exceeds standards established by Baptist Health Support Services.

• Research end-user problems related to hospital information systems in a timely manner and provides solutions that are acceptable to the user.

• Disseminates information such as scheduled downtime, training classes, problem resolution, and system status to end-users as applicable.

• Participates in projects and initiatives that are initiated from Baptist Healthcare System Support Services and/or the respective hospital.

• Provides first and second-tier support for all hospital-based information systems including hardware and software. Maintains hospital information systems in accordance with standards established by Baptist Healthcare System Support Services.

• Participates in on-call rotation for providing highly responsive support to end-user's methods

• travel to any BHS facility to provide on-site support.

• Promotes corporate integrity through compliance with the BHS Corporate Compliance Program.

Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required

Associate degree in related area or six-month related experience.
