We are recruiting for a Chemical Process Engineer for a new state-of-the art foam pouring and manufacturing facility located in Crawfordsville, Indiana.

Salary Range: $50K-$71K

What You Will Do:

• Plans, schedules and monitors inbound movement of materials from suppliers
• Determines material requirements and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering
• Develops specifications for new contract orders
• Computerized processing of sales orders into MRP/MPS to provide forecast/schedule for plant production.
• Prepares production reports.
• Confers with production personnel to determine status of assigned projects.
• Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
• Minimal customer service duties - fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.

What You Will Need:

• Intermediate knowledge of PC usage required to include using Word, Excel, Microsoft Windows, and data entry operations.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics
• Inventory Accuracy Software Program
• Textile Planning Tool
• Scheduling
• Reporting of inventory
• Supplier Managed Inventory (SMI)
• Product information (Forecasting)
• High School Diploma or GED plus three years of related experience or training is requires; Associates degree or equivalent from tow-year college; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
