Diesel Mechanic

PSI Environmental Systems, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join the team at Twin Falls, ID! Mechanics interested in secure, steady employment are encouraged to apply. At least 1 year of experience doing maintenance on diesel trucks is preferred.

This is a swing shift opening working Monday - Friday.

Starting pay is $24+ DOE. Overtime Guaranteed with time and a half after 40 hours a week!

Responsibilities Include:

• Inspects and repairs vehicles with diesel engines
• Handles routine repairs, including oil and tire changes along with minor and major repairs from A/C, hydraulics, electrical, welding, engine replacement, transmissions, etc.
• Interprets diagnostic test results accurately
• Writes detailed inspection reports and repair plans in our system
• Collaborates with other diesel mechanics
• Completes test drives to make sure the vehicle runs correctly
• Uses power, machine, and hand tools safely
• Communicate with drivers for issues in morning and afternoon
• Reviews, completes or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards
• Follows all Waste Connections repair shop regulations and standards
