Additional duties may include assisting with patient safety and risk management activities, performing investigational reviews, collecting performance improvement data, and reviewing clinical trial studies. Qualifications Required Experience/Specialized Skills: Minimum 3 years of acute care/infection control experience and/or data collection and performance improvement/risk management experience. Must have experience with adult education, basic statistics and epidemiological principles. Required Certification/Registration: Certification in Infection Control (CIC) or attends a basic infection control training course CA RN license, other relevant license, for non-nurses or equivalent experience. Required Education/Course(s)/Training: Bachelor's degree, nursing or biological sciences or equivalent experience Preferred Experience/Specialized Skills/Education/Course(s)/Training: Master's degree in Public Health, Biological Sciences, or related. Acute care hospital experience.
