The Infection Control Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and coordinating the infection surveillance, prevention and control program, promoting safe, effective infection control practices and for assuring facility infection control compliance with regulating agencies. Additional duties may include assisting with patient safety and risk management activities, performing investigational reviews, collecting performance improvement data, and reviewing clinical trial studies.
