Statistics and Data Sciences: The UCF Department of Statistics & Data Science instructs students in a wide variety of methods for collection, analysis, interpretation, presentation, and organization of data. Students in our programs gain the knowledge and technical skills necessary to use complex data in many different applications. The department offers three undergraduate degrees: one in Statistics, one in Actuarial Science, and one in Data Science. The graduate degree offered by the department includes an M.S. degree with two tracks in Data Mining and Statistical Computing, a SAS certificate program, and a Ph.D. degree in Big Data Analytics. The Opportunity: UCF College of Sciences seeks an Administrative Assistant III to manage the administrative and daily operations of the Statistics & Data Science Department. Tasks include organizing symposium and industry partnership, advising on faculty affairs with department chair, and some undergraduate support.
