Network Director Nurse Clinical Quality

Job Summary:

The Network Director Nurse Clinical Quality is responsible for providing leadership to and oversight for nursing clinical quality leaders, and support staff working across the University of Vermont Health Network (UVMHN) as part of a comprehensive proactive nurse quality health system program. She/he will collaborate with leaders across the organization to implement key strategies that proactively reduce clinical risk and improve clinical quality. She/he promotes a culture of quality by implementing systems improvement to clinical processes through the adoption of evidence-based practices. This includes identification, development, and implementation of processes that improves clinical care delivery. She/he provides strategic and operational direction and leadership in building and sustaining a culture of continuous quality improvement in all UVMHN partner sites and clinical settings.

The individual serves as the primary liaison between nursing quality resources and UVMHN Network to support key strategic priorities. The individual manages a team who performs the collection, analysis and reporting of nursing quality data, with primarily responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of system wide nursing quality plans.

Education:
Minimum requirement: Bachelor's degree in nursing or other allied health field. Master's degree in nursing preferred. Licensure in Vermont and New York required. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and Lean Six Sigma preferred.

Experience:
Demonstrates progressive success in relevant roles. Minimum seven years quality and nurse leadership experience in an hospital environment required.
