Compensation / Benefits

  • $13.21-$21.58/hr based on previous work experience.
  • Evening differential $1.50/hr.
  • Night differential $1.75/hr.
  • Weekend differential $1.75/hr.

Our 5TA Medical team provides medical/surgical care to adult populations with a wide variety of complex medical conditions. We focus our efforts on restoring optimal physical and mental well-being in each unique situation with a constant goal of maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our patients. Our unit consists of 16 med/surg tele beds and provides post-op colorectal surgical care.


Job Summary

  • Provides basic patient care.
  • Assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment.

Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Completion of a recognized patient care training program or one clinical semester of nursing school preferred.

Experience

  • Required to be at least 18 years of age.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of six (6) months of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for this requirement.

(The above requirements can be met by the equivalent combination of education and experience).

Licensure / Certification

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
  • Current Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Advanced Unlicensed Assistant (AUA) certification preferred.
  • Training and competencies specific to a department may be required to be maintained during employment.
