Grinder Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 am - 4:00 pm) Pay: $20 - $25 per hr We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Grinder to join our team on the 1st shift. This position is ideal for candidates with at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment who are eager to learn, grow, and advance within the company. If you have a strong work ethic and an interest in precision grinding, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities: Loading workpieces onto the grinding machine, ensuring they are aligned accurately. Using grinding wheels to shape and smooth surfaces based on blueprints or instructions. Operating and potentially setting up precision grinding machines, including surface, external, internal, or centerless grinders. Setting up machines for standard operations where speeds and settings are already prescribed. Selecting the appropriate wheels for different materials and finish requirements. Working with close tolerances and handling difficult set-ups for parts with irregular shapes. Inspecting workpieces for defects and ensuring high-quality standards are met.
