Tile Press Inspector

Duties:

• Inspect tiles on a continuous line for defects and quality.
• Communicate to personnel regarding defects and any mechanical issues.
• Must be able to Inspect a tile press line to ensure quality.
• Input all defective tiles by code on the CAMS waste screen.
• Must be able to accurately count and code all defective tiles. Any tiles deemed 1^st quality after sorting must go back in the line for packing.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Able to lift and carry objects up to 80 lbs.
• Repetitive motions on a computer and pack outline controls.
• Must be able to walk throughout the facility.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience/Education Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must pass Munsell Color Test
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are required. Must be able to communicate effectively with associates and management throughout the company and with outside parties.
• Word processing and spreadsheet skills in a Microsoft Windows environment are preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar position is preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Some after-hours work may be required.
• Must be capable of functioning without direct supervision.
• All accidents must be reported immediately.
