Summary

Western Building Products is a 100% Employee-Owned company. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CPQ Specialist to join our team and support the configuration, administration, and maintenance of our Configure Price Quote (CPQ) application. The CPQ Specialist will be responsible for designing and maintaining product models and ensuring that our CPQ application runs smoothly to meet the needs of our sales team and customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain accurate and efficient product models, including complex product configurations, bundles, and options.
  • Define product attributes, rules, and dependencies to ensure seamless product configuration and accurate quoting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into actionable configurations.
  • Manage and update product catalogs.
  • Ensure product data is consistent, up-to-date, and aligned with business goals.
  • Perform regular system audits to ensure configurations are accurate and functional.
  • Ensure CPQ tool is optimized to generate accurate, timely quotes based on customer requirements and predefined pricing models.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to product configuration, pricing, or quote generation processes.
  • Provide training and support to internal and external users on how to use CPQ tool and apply product models.
  • Document and provide best practices for CPQ usage and product configuration workflows.
  • Create, maintain, and delete user accounts in the CPQ application.
  • Monitor user feedback and collaborate with IT and software vendors to enhance CPQ functionality and integration with other enterprise systems.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience with CPQ systems (Salesforce, Oracle, or similar).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
  • Strong data management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex configuration problems.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Certifications

  • Preferred CPQ certification
