Overview

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.


Responsibilities

As a Mission Planner with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following:
    Create and distribute MPC packages as directed by the Government. MPC materials can include, but are not limited to:Scenario coordination sheets Air Tasking Order (ATO), Fragmentary Breakouts and Air Control Order (ACO)Air Order of Battle (AOB) and Ground Order of Battle (GOB) lay-downs Special Instructions (SPIN) and Rules of Engagement (ROE) Maps and target photos Line-up cards, communication cards Briefing/Debriefing slides
  • Create scenarios within Environment Generator software to support OT events.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 8-10 years of experience; a combination of education and experience can be used in lieu of degree
  • Secret Clearance
  • Functional knowledge of distributed simulation (DIS) and High-Level Architecture (HLA)
  • Must meet basic requirements of an Event Controller SME
  • Must know how to use stimulation software applications
  • Must understand basic AFTTP 3-1 TTPs and Joint Warfare Publications
  • Experience in running or planning in an active mission planning cell
  • Qualified or previously qualified mission commander, section lead, or equivalent


Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $92,100.00/Yr. - USD $193,900.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
