Responsibilities

As a Fire Control Technician you will have the opportunity to do the following::

Assist with test and evaluation; perform validations/verifications of AN/BYG-1systems

Assist in accomplishing Engineering Change Instructions (ECI)
Develop technical/engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems, technical manuals, troubleshooting procedures, drawing updates, operation procedures, and maintainability improvements
Support systems engineering activities with subject matter expertise
Direct on-site customer interface for equipment/systems installation, testing, survey, fabrication, and other engineering tasks as needed
Comply with engineering documentation standards, engineering plans, and system specifications and test procedures; review change proposals for equipment impacts

Qualifications

Ten (10) years of practical experience and High School diploma/GED OR Six (6) years practical experience and an Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology, math, or science; or Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications; or four-year electronics apprentice program.
Hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, repairing networking equipment and Windows servers and workstations
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $66,100.00/Yr. - USD $139,300.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
