How will your role help us transform hope into reality?

The Regional Marketing Executive (RME) will be a key player in Blueprint Medicines' commercial success, driving market development across the Systemic Mastocytosis (SM) landscape. The RME is responsible for fostering awareness of SM and treatment adoption, identifying SM champions, and building multi-specialty networks within key centers and customers. This role leads discovery of center/customer needs and requires collaboration with internal teams to create targeted engagement plans, drive customer relationships, and enhance treatment adoption across the region.

The RME will work closely with Marketing, Sales, Leadership, and Commercial Operations to identify opportunities and unmet needs, while building a geographically dispersed network of SM advocates. This position will also lead speaker program management, regional marketing initiatives, and regional congress planning. As a field-based role, the RME reports to the Sr. Director, Regional Marketing Executive Team Leader.

What will you do?



  • Lead long-term market development efforts in assigned regions across the SM landscape, focusing on high-potential centers and customers
  • Accountable for developing and executing customer engagement plans for select centers, aligning with business goals to foster growth Multi-Specialty Network Creation: Drive SM adoption by establishing and nurturing multi-specialty networks within an institution or in a community setting (Hub and Spoke model)
  • Identify, build, and move SM champions along the belief continuum, fostering advocacy within the region
  • Maintain understanding of regional market dynamics, including key opinion leaders, institutional accounts, multi-disciplinary teams, and community referral patterns to help remove barriers and provide business partnership with sales leadership to drive business growth
  • Partner with sales leadership, commercial field teams, and medical to align on regional market development strategies
  • Develop and execute regional marketing initiatives (insight discovery, ad boards, roundtables, etc.)
  • Assess the treatment patterns and referral networks affiliated with key customer accounts.
  • In partnership with Medical, Sales Leadership, Commercial Operations, and Brand Marketing, the RME will support regional congress planning and execution, including KOL engagement at priority conferences across hematology/oncology and allergist/immunology
  • Leverage analytical tools to understand business trends and meet or exceed target KPIs
  • Oversee speaker management, including speaker selection and training in collaboration with HQ marketing
  • Be a voice for key customer accounts within the organization, advocating for needs and sharing insights with key stakeholders and cross-functional partners
  • Proactively meet with assigned centers and/or customers to solicit feedback and adjust accordingly
  • Represent Blueprint Medicines at congresses and local / regional medical meetings
  • Develop and continuously maintain a high level of systemic mastocytosis clinical competence
  • Acts with integrity; upholds ethical behavior and strict adherence to compliance standards.



What minimum qualifications do we require?



  • Bachelor's degree in business, science, engineering, or related field
  • A minimum of 8 years of work experience in marketing, sales, or related functions
  • Minimum 4 years of field marketing, TLL, or other relevant field-type roles
  • Ability to travel within the US on a regular basis which may include overnight and weekend travel for regional congresses (estimated 50%+)
  • Allergy/Immunology and Hematology background required
  • Candidate must live in one of the following states: New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida. Proximity to a major airport is preferred.



What additional qualifications will make you a stronger candidate?



  • Rare Disease and/or TA with market development background preferred
  • Key Account management preferred
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team/forming a treatment team preferred
  • Academic center focus and KOL development experience required
  • Cross functional commercial background a plus (i.e. marketing, sales leadership, etc.)
  • Project management preferred
  • Vendor management preferred
  • Demonstrated success across multiple drug launches in applicable specialty markets
  • Understanding of oral targeted therapies with a requisite diagnostic component and ability to navigate in complex market access environments
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Expertise in creating and executing on customer account plans
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to identify and action on creative solutions
  • Ability to establish credibility, connect the dots and align multiple stakeholders to pioneer the adoption of new products, methods and technologies
  • A team player able to collaborate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, gain consensus and act independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Flexibility and the ability to plan and adapt to changing market conditions
