Faculty Position - Biology Brophy College Preparatory is currently accepting applications for a full-time faculty position in the Science Department as a Biology teacher beginning in August of 2025. Possible courses, programs, and activities include: College preparatory honors and AP Biology Coaching or moderating teams, clubs, or other extracurricular activities Leading retreats, immersion and service trips, and other formation experiences for students Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in biology, environmental science, or related fields, with preference given to candidates who have graduate degrees in one or more of those disciplines Special consideration given to candidates who have the credentials to teach dual enrollment college credit and/or AP-level courses Experience with and desire to engage in extracurricular activities such as coaching or moderating clubs and activities is highly desirable Passion for the mission and values of Brophy's Catholic, Jesuit identity Compensation and Benefits: Salary is based on academic background and years of teaching experience and is highly competitive with local school districts and private schools Health insurance, retirement, life insurance, summer and major holiday breaks Opportunity for summer employment Opportunity to work with talented and motivated students in a variety of settings Close collaboration with highly collegial, professional, and engaging faculty To Apply: Interested candidates can apply by emailing a letter of introduction and a resume to Brophy's Principal, Jim Bopp, at jbopp@brophyprep.org.
