POSITION SUMMARY The Manager, Data Governance and Administration at the American Psychiatric Association (APA) plays a crucial role in driving APA's data strategy and optimizing our Salesforce platform to enhance operational efficiency and support the organization's mission. This position collaborates with various departments to translate business needs into effective technical solutions, ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our CRM system. They will serve as one of APA's AMS/CRM experts and regularly liaise with internal staff and third-party vendors to ensure needed functionality, processes, and analytics are in place to support APA operations. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Salesforce Administration
Manage data sets and processes for various programs in Salesforce/Fonteva, including data architecture, user management, security, flows, enterprise applications, and routine system audits.
Responsible for QA, testing, and implementation of new applications, software releases, upgrades, and patches for Fonteva, Salesforce, and other related software.
Data Governance
Develop and maintain data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data integrity, compliance, and security.
Data Analytics
Design, develop, and deploy dashboards and reports using Salesforce, Tableau, or other analytics tools to provide insights into organizational performance across APA programs.
Training, Support, and Documentation
Additional Responsibilities
Maintain and grow acumen on emerging trends, Salesforce, data architecture, data analytics, and new technology, and provide recommendations for process improvements to APA systems.

Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years' database administration, preferably Salesforce, experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in a nonprofit or association setting.
Experience with software development life cycle, quality initiatives, information mapping methodologies, system integration and testing
