General Manager - Embassy Suites by Hilton Rockford Riverfront
Are you an experienced leader with a passion for hospitality and driving operational excellence?
Embassy Suites by Hilton Rockford Riverfront is seeking a
General Manager to oversee our stunning hotel, where service and sophistication meet in the heart of Rockford.
As the General Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our hotel remains the premier destination for business and leisure travelers. You'll lead with vision, inspire your team, and deliver exceptional guest experiences while maximizing revenue and profitability.
What You'll Do:
- Strategic Leadership: Set and execute action plans to achieve key performance metrics, including Occupancy, ADR, REVPAR, and GOP.
- Operational Oversight: Lead all aspects of hotel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, food & beverage, and facilities management, ensuring excellence in every department.
- Team Development: Hire, train, coach, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and guest satisfaction.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, review monthly P&L reports, and identify areas for operational improvement and cost efficiency.
- Sales and Marketing: Collaborate on sales strategies, oversee marketing initiatives, and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, local businesses, and community leaders.
- Guest Experience: Champion guest satisfaction by responding to feedback, ensuring high service standards, and addressing issues promptly and effectively.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the property adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as brand standards and safety protocols.
- Community Engagement: Act as the hotel's ambassador, building partnerships with the local community, visitor bureaus, and media outlets to enhance the property's reputation.
What We're Looking For:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
- At least 5+ years of hotel management experience with proven success.
- Expertise in group sales is a plus.
- A leader who is team-focused, guest-service driven, and results-oriented.
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
