In the role of Hydrogeology/Groundwater Modeling Intern, we'll count on you to:

  • Offer real-world experience on exciting projects
  • Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
  • Work under more-senior modelers, using prescribed methods in various data analysis and modeling assignments as part of groundwater and contaminant fate and transport modeling projects.
  • Evaluate groundwater movement, contaminant fate and transport, groundwater supplies, and land subsidence due to over withdrawal of groundwater
  • Acquire, organize and analyze environmental data
  • Perform other duties as needed


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
  • Experience conducting groundwater modeling, working with modeling programs like MODFLOW, MODPATH, MT3DMS and model processing software such as GMS or Groundwater Vistas required, however, would consider strong candidate with directly relevant experience
  • Local Candidates preferred

Required Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate environmental science, biology, environmental Engineering or related program
  • Attention to detail
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
