More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as an Assembler in Peachtree City, GA with Signify. Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, is the world leader in lighting.

  • Schedule print jobs to 3D Printers utilizing Print Manager Software

  • Operate and maintain multiple 3D Printers including loading filament, routine preventative maintenance and overall execution of all printed parts

  • Perform quality checks on 3D printed parts and organize approved parts for final assembly

  • Assemble, wire, inspect, test and package fixtures via an assembly line or workbench process efficiently without quality defects; perform quality checks consistent with the inspection and control plans

  • Enter complete and accurate work order information as required

  • Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner and maintain the 5S+ Check sheet (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)

More about you

While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

  • High School education or equivalent (i.e., diploma or GED) from an accredited institution preferred

  • 1+ years' experience performing assembly in a manufacturing environment; Ability to use hand and power tools as required

  • Computer experience utilizing Excel, Microsoft Teams, and scheduling 3D print jobs to 3D printers

  • Able to work 5:30am to 1:30pm Monday through Friday. Must be able to work overtime as needed

  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach forward, and stand for up to 8 hours; Ability to regularly lift 60 pounds without assistance

  • Good communication skills both verbal and written, well organized, able to learn new technologies quickly and be a self-starter who is able to multitask

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs

Starting Rate of Pay = $18.79
