Description

Machine Maintenance Specialist

Penn United Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a motivated and skilled full-time Machine Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This person will be responsible to provide quality mechanical and electrical maintenance service as well as troubleshooting and repairing various types of precision manufacturing equipment including CNC machines for our employee-owned manufacturing company.

We are a leader in our industry, providing the highest quality precision manufactured solutions for a variety of products and industries. The Machine Maintenance Specialist plays a vital role in keeping our machinery & equipment operating safely and efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Maintenance Specialist:



  • Troubleshoot and perform electrical & mechanical repairs on machinery including rebuilding motors, pumps, replacing bearings, etc...
  • Install & repair, and rebuild electrical & electronic components in machinery
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment. Ensure all routine & scheduled maintenance is completed on time and documented.
  • Connect wiring & hydraulic lines to install electrical and hydraulic components
  • Relocate & install equipment
  • Fabricate needed parts for equipment repairs


Qualifications

Qualifications for the Maintenance Specialist:



  • Candidates must have background in electrical work
  • 2-4 years machining-equipment maintenance experience (electronics, PLC's, pneumatics and hydraulics) is required
  • Thorough knowledge of methods, tools, practices & safety measures related to mechanical and electrical work
  • Technical degree related to industrial maintenance or Mechatronics strongly preferred
  • Must be able to be on your feet for up to 9 hours/day
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • High school diploma or GED.
