Job Details:

Purpose

To provide administrative support for the Manger of Memberships and Partnerships for NISOD.

Responsibilities
  • Update membership database and report; process new member applications.

  • Process sponsor applications, track deliverables, and update sponsor database.

  • Manage registration, awards processes, and communication for the annual conference and other meetings.

  • Perform accounting duties such as invoicing and ensuring payments are received.

  • Answer phone calls and provide excellent customer service.

  • General administrative duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with a minimum of five years of clerical or equivalent experience. Excellent organizational, customer service, and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.Must be capable of working independently and under supervision. Highly motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Experience operating office machines and equipment. Must be able to create and work with documents in MS Excel, MS Word, and other MS Office applications. Must be able to operate personal computer including email, the internet, and software related to databases.Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience arranging events including scheduling, catering, and logistics. Ability to interact and maintain productive working relationships with a broad population of faculty, staff, and administrators and maintain a positive and professional demeanor.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree. Experience using UT mainframe accounting system. Experience taking ownership of projects and seeing them through to successful completion. Experience using FileMaker Pro or other database software.

Salary Range

$48,000+ depending on qualifications

Working Conditions
  • Work is performed in an office setting

  • May require occasional irregular and/or prolonged hours

  • Repetitive use of keyboard at workstation.
