General Summary of Position Reporting to the Staffing Manager, the Staffing Supervisor supervises the operations of the staffing office and staffing coordinators associates in accordance with established policies and procedures to ensure appropriate documentation of occurrences of staffing absences and late arrivals for all departments within the division of operations. Oversees and maintains the accuracy of the information within the department's scheduling system. Responsible for new and ongoing training. Oversees the API Payroll system. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Supervises the daily operations of the staffing office.Oversees performance and job functions of staffing coordinator associates including supplemental PRN staff.Oversees and maintains the information within scheduling system is accurate and makes edits as necessary.Responsible for new and ongoing training for scheduling system.Acts as liaison for department managers in order to assure scheduled deadlines are met.Completes payroll for multiple departments. Communicates with payroll, any errors, changes, or discrepancies regarding employee's timesheet or paycheck.Ensures 24/7 coverage of the staffing office.Serves as expert resource to Humans Resources, Payroll and department managers regarding policies, procedures, and reporting systems.Maintains accountability for reviewing the schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels on a proactive basis.Coordinates the movement of support services personnel to other departments.Provides expert guidance to Staffing Coordinators and Associates to resolve staffing conflicts or extraordinary events.Evaluates and analyzes staffing patterns in accordance with standard staffing policies to determine inefficiencies and acts to correct them.Communicates with Staffing Manager, Senior Director, and other resources as necessary for adequate staffing.Knows the duties and capabilities of each category of employee.Keeps Managers, Directors and other resources informed of chronic absenteeism, excessive sick time, and habitual late offenders.
Minimum Qualifications Education
- High School Diploma or GED required

Experience
- 1-2 years experience in a highly busy facility required
- Basic knowledge of staffing principles, productivity, HR and similar or relevant work experience required
- Payroll and/or scheduling experience preferred
- Experience in overseeing personnel preferred
- Experience in computer training preferred
