The Role:

The Carpenter will work on assigned projects determined by the Facilities Management. Tasks may include remolding projects, maintenance and repair of Table Games. Applicants should be in good standing with the carpenters' union Local 94 and have a minimum of 3-5 years carpentry experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Table Game Maintenance:




• Inspect, repair, and maintain all casino gaming tables, including poker, blackjack, and roulette tables.
• Work closely with the gaming operations team to understand specific needs and requirements for table maintenance.
• Apply expert carpentry techniques to maintain gaming tables in pristine condition.




2. Slot Machine Installations and Maintenance:




• Install and maintain slot machine bases, ensuring that they are aligned with casino standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with the slot machine department to facilitate the installation of the machines.
• Provide ongoing maintenance to the slot machine bases, including any necessary repairs and adjustments.




3. Light Remodeling Projects:




• Collaborate with the facilities team on various remodeling projects throughout the casino, including wall construction, fixture installation, and finishing work.
• Ensure that all remodeling projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations.




4. General Maintenance Duties:




• Perform general carpentry repairs and maintenance throughout the casino, hotel, and spa, including doors and hardware, windows, furniture, and other structures as directed.
• Utilize a wide range of carpentry tools and equipment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Participate in emergency repair work as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must be a member in good standing with the Carpenter's Local Union 94
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification in carpentry is preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of carpentry experience, preferably within a casino or hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects and comply with all safety regulations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
