Controls Systems Engineer

A Control Systems Engineer job in Cincinnati, OH is currently available at Belcan. As a Control Systems Engineer, you must have the experience with software tools and the organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of internal stakeholders and external clients.

* Works with Aerospace turbine control systems.
* Implements changes to aero-derivative wind turbine software in the MATLAB and Simulink environment.
* Tests and validates control software.
* Prepares material documenting change requirements, implementation, testing and validation results.
* Troubleshooting and analysis
* Use MBSE methodology in work tasks

Job Duties:
* Control System and Data software and requirement development
* Closed-loop control system design
* Gas Turbine Engine operation design
* Sensor and Actuator simulation and modeling
* Transient Analysis of Gas Turbine Engines
* Gas Turbine Engine test planning and support
* Act as interface between software developers and customers

Required Qualifications:
* Matlab/Simulink/Simscape experience
* Gas turbine experience
* Control Theory experience
* Aero/Thermodynamic experience
* Programming/scripting experience
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* PC proficiency
* Operations experience
* Data Analysis experience

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
* Basic knowledge of software development tools, such as MATLAB/Simulink/Simscape, LabView, GIT, etc.
* Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience
* Interest in Aerospace, Wind, or other Renewable energy applications.

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $65,000-$85,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
