ABOUT THE JOB:

WillScot is a leading space and storage solutions company committed to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional value to our clients. We are seeking a Senior Manager of Pricing to join our dynamic team and drive pricing strategies that optimize revenue, profitability and enhance our competitive position in the market.

Position Overview:

As the Senior Manager of Pricing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing pricing strategies across the business. You will leverage your expertise in pricing strategy, models, market analysis, and the PROS pricing system to ensure the development and implementation of pricing structures that align with company objectives and maximize revenue growth.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Drive the adoption and usage of the PROS Smart Price Optimization & Management system to develop and manage dynamic pricing strategies, ensuring that the system is leveraged effectively for real-time pricing decisions.
  • Lead the development and execution of strategic pricing initiatives, including price optimization, competitive analysis, and segmentation.
  • Conduct regular and systematic pricing reviews, assessing the effectiveness of current pricing system, strategies, market conditions, and competitor pricing. Provide actionable insights to adjust pricing structures based on review findings.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to implement pricing strategies that align with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Oversee pricing governance processes, ensuring pricing consistency, compliance, and alignment with organizational standards.
  • Regularly assess and improve our PROS pricing system's performance, reporting on system usage, accuracy, and effectiveness.
  • Manage part of a small but growing team of pricing experts, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development.
  • Collaborate with the IT and data teams to enhance data integration and reporting capabilities within PROS, ensuring the system supports business goals.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in pricing, finance, revenue management or related roles.
  • Minimum 7 years of prior progressive leadership experience.
  • Proven expertise in using the PROS Smart Price Optimization & Management.
  • Expertise in advanced Excel functions, SQL, and/or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong experience with data analytics, including tools for price optimization, predictive modeling, and machine learning (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
  • Experience with conducting regular pricing reviews, assessing pricing performance, and making data-driven recommendations for price adjustments.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate pricing strategies to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing business needs.
