FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.

Duties and Responsibilities: The News Operations Manager oversees the technical and logistical aspects of a cutting-edge, multi-platform local TV newsroom in the San Francisco Bay Area, while working collaboratively with engineering and tech services. They will demonstrate exceptional leadership to ensure the seamless execution of multiple, simultaneous live newscasts, special productions on location, streaming channels, and dynamic social media content. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of live studio and remote production, while also being curious about new technology, creative in solving problems, and bring a competitive spirit to the market's fast-paced news environment.
Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of experience in broadcast television, with at least 3 years in an operational or technical leadership role. Proficiency with LiveU, Edius editing software, iNews newsroom production software, Bitcentral video management software or equivalent production systems. Strong knowledge of live production workflows for broadcast, streaming, and social media platforms. Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom environment. Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with a focus on innovation and problem-solving. A willingness to learn new skills, embrace emerging technology, and adapt to change to help grow KTVU's audience in the quickly evolving digital landscape. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by news coverage demands. Valid driver's license and ability to travel for location-based productions. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $125,000.00-145,000.00 annually for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $104,100.00-120,800.00 annually for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
