Job Title: Project Manager Location(s): Jersey City, NJ (hybrid) Key Responsibilities Kick off requirements gathering for third-party vendor systems Document requirements and conduct demos Collaborate with internal teams to select the appropriate vendor Implementation Phase: Organize workshops to define low-level requirements Work with the vendor to create a detailed implementation plan Develop a 2-year roadmap post vendor selection Ongoing Tasks: Manage vendor relationships and ensure they deliver according to the plan and budget Facilitate business conversations and act as a liaison between internal teams and external vendors Present project updates and progress to stakeholders Top Skills and Qualifications Insurance Experience: Fundamental understanding of insurance products, underwriting, documentation, and policy structures. Knowledge of insurer vs. broker relationships and how these interactions work. SAAS Applications: Experience working with third-party vendors to implement SAAS solutions Collaboration and Presentation Skills: Highly collaborative, with the ability to bring together business teams and stakeholders Strong presentation skills to influence and guide team members, regardless of direct reporting lines Preferred Qualifications Experience running implementation projects within an insurance company. Proven track record of managing large-scale IT projects. Strong organizational skills and the ability to create detailed implementation roadmaps. Ampcus is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
