Apply Keck School of Medicine Los Angeles, California The USC DUB Lab (https://dublab.usc.edu/) is seeking a motivated, inquisitive, and detail-oriented Project Assistant. The Project Assistant will be involved in data collection for externally funded research projects that focus on the effects of alcohol in the laboratory and in real life, and on tobacco use and attitudes. smoking cessation in vulnerable populations (e.g., LGBTQ+ couples, women). Under the direction ofDr. Kirkpatrick, the Project Assistant will support the day-to-day activities of research studies funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA).Specifically, this position requires recruitment of research participants, screening, executing human data collection protocols, and all other tasks-related to completing externally funded projects. The successful candidate will be able to work well as a collaborative member of a research team, have excellent organizational skills, and have strong interpersonal skills. Experience working in a behavioral research setting is preferred. The position requires 5 days/wk attendance with flexibility to work weekends as needed from an approved work-from-home location and/or at theUSCHealth Sciences Campus in Los Angeles, CA.
