Job Summary
The Graduate Admissions Services Coordinator is the primary technical operator for all aspects of application processing, material organizing, decision rendering, and reporting as it pertains to the movement of applications through the graduate admissions funnel from submission to enrollment for graduate programs at Drexel University. This includes building data reports on funnel stages, updating application status, delivering decisions on behalf of the colleges, quality controlling and proofing of decision letters, managing decision timelines, and the awarding of scholarships and financial aid. The Coordinator works collaboratively with an assigned college or colleges within Drexel to review domestic and international application materials, with the purpose of making admissions recommendations to their colleges. They will collaborate closely with the academic departments and our applicants throughout the decision process. The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative in a dynamic and fast paced organization and extrapolate and apply new learning across multiple programs to provide an exceptional applicant experience.
Essential Functions
- Reviewing graduate level applications for completion, accuracy, and anomalies, and vetting with senior leadership as appropriate.
- Communicating with students who have application-related questions, and updating their student records accordingly.
- Coordinating with OPS for materials search and fulfillment.
- Working closely with Academic Information Services to assist in the build-out of application checklist items, application updates, decision letters, and portal information displays.
- Distributing scholarship information.
- Conducting quality control of admissions letters for accuracy in decision, provisions, and scholarship information.
- Maintaining an understanding of admissions systems, program requirements, and best practices across assigned programs and all verticals.
- Developing and processing reports at the request of departments.
- Coordinating with academic departments on requirements and reviewing standards for domestic and international applicants.
- Managing recruitment cycle calendars for each program and department, including deadlines, close of term processes, and program openings.
- Providing consistent, excellent customer service for applicant inquiries.
- Attending meetings consistently with key stakeholders around campus.
- Meeting regularly and collaborating closely with the recruitment team to identify trends and brainstorm strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Ability to work independently with complex data and under minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to address and resolve issues in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Ability to maintain an understanding of cyclical and changing priorities.
- Ability to recognize when efficiencies are needed.
- Ability to provide solutions and streamline processes.

This position is classified as Non-Exempt, grade H. Compensation for this grade ranges from $17.14 - $25.71 per hour. Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
