Responsible for setting up and operating all machinery and equipment used to clean and plate our products.

  • Responsible for setting up and operating all machinery and equipment used to clean and plate our products
  • Work from analysis, prints, written, and verbal instructions
  • Must be able to sequence sizes and shapes of parts with respect to rectifier control to maintain quality
  • Required to make paperwork associated with the Plating Department
  • Must develop the technique of visual inspection and add chromate as needed to maintain the color and brilliance
  • Be able to recognize parts requiring movement during plating and also parts requiring partial rotation
  • Must perform all material handling associated with the Plating
  • Work safely in accordance with regulations, standards, and procedures in a manner that eliminates risk to health and the environment. Notify leadership of unsafe conditions or practices unlawful activities and activities which present unreasonable health and/or environmental risk. Report all safety and/or environmental incidents to leadership immediately
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred
  • Have a high degree of initiative
  • Good math and reading skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Be able to use simple measuring instruments, such as a caliper and scale
