This position is accountable for the daily, weekly, and monthly preparation and analysis of reports for management's use in fiscal decision making. This role processes and reports financial information in an accurate and timely manner and implements internal controls to safeguard assets. This role monitors and analyzes daily reporting, ensures the timely and accurate closing of the books, and assists in the month-end close by reviewing the P&L.

Because this role involves access to confidential financial information, the Company has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and to provide similar protections for its clients and potential investments.

  • Manage the daily review of all variances and variance detail tracking report
  • Assist in developing the Annual Operating Budget
  • Analyze manufacturing costs, transfer pricing and special projects, and monthly P&L summaries for anomalies and report findings to management
  • Provide analytical support for Operational Excellence cost savings projects, including Lean projects, Six Sigma, Capital Projects, Kaizen Events and 5S projects
  • Utilize advanced data mining and analysis to identify and make recommendations on adverse yield trends
  • Assist in the physical inventory
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must have at least one (1) year of work experience in finance or accounting, or have completed a Sherwin-Williams development program in Finance
  • Must have a bachelor's degree or higher or have at least four (4) years work experience in finance or accounting
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Have a bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, economics, or business
  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience in an accounting function in a manufacturing/distribution environment
  • Have prior work experience financial forecasting
  • Have prior work experience preparing an annual budget
  • Have prior work experience using spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications
