Our Senior HR Generalist will have one eye on the tactical needs of operating the business and the other looking forward, devising plans to streamline operations and crafting creative means to serve our team of the finest roofers in the Midwest. Your daily activities will be driven by the needs of the team, so no two days are the same. In this role, you will support the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department, including employee relations, training and development, staffing and recruitment, payroll, benefits and compensation, and enforcing company policies and practices. You will develop and maintain the best possible working relationships with internal and external customers by providing service that meets or exceeds our employees' expectations. Qualifications for Senior HR Generalist: What Does It Take to Be a Fit for This Role? * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or higher ed. * Exceptional prior experience in Human Resources * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills * High attention to detail * Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to handle multiple tasks with overlapping deadlines and work well in a fast-paced environment The qualified candidate will be a self-starter needing minimal direction once integrated into the role. As the sole practitioner, experience and knowledge of all Federal, State and local laws, benefit administration, payroll, and policy development are mandatory. Benefits for Senior HR Generalist: This leader starting salary ranges between $70,000- $85,000, based on experience, and will be eligible to earn quarterly bonuses.
