The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for driving sales efficiency, data analysis, reporting, CRM optimization, and inside sales management to support business growth. This role acts as a bridge between sales, operations, and technology, ensuring that data-driven insights guide decision-making. The individual will manage the Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs), provide training on sales tools, oversee CRM usage (HubSpot and NetSuite), and lead sales reporting initiatives to optimize performance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Sales Operations & Business Analytics

  • Develop and manage business intelligence reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for the sales team using NetSuite and HubSpot.
  • Conduct in-depth sales data analysis to track performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Ensure seamless CRM management, including workflow automation, data integrity, and reporting across sales platforms.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline sales processes and increase efficiency.

Inside Sales Management & Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs) to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Set performance metrics, monitor key sales indicators, and drive process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Director of Sales & Strategic Partnerships and Account Managers to align and drive business strategy with sales goals.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, motivation, and professional development across the entire sales team.

Sales Team Training & CRM Super User Role

  • Act as the Super User and Trainer for HubSpot and NetSuite, ensuring all sales personnel effectively use CRM tools.
  • Develop and conduct sales training programs, including CRM best practices, reporting tools, and data management.
  • Lead efforts in CRM migration and system upgrades, collaborating with IT and business stakeholders.
  • Train users on data visualization tools for self-service reporting.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Partner with IT, Procurement, Compliance and Quality to refine data processes, automate reporting, and enhance sales forecasting.
  • Work closely with Account Managers to develop strategies for expanding market share, increasing service levels, and improving customer relationships.
  • Lead and engage in stakeholder meetings to align reporting tools and dashboards with business objectives.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manage and supervise employees on sales team. Carries out all supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include assisting with interview and hire process, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Work Environment

Primarily Monday through Friday office hours schedule, on-site at TEVET's headquarters, or at their home office with regular visits to headquarters. May need to work and be available outside of primary hours to meet customer and business needs. Travel will be required.

Physical Demands

Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Data Analytics, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, inside sales management, or business analytics.
  • Experience with HubSpot and NetSuite required.
  • Formal training in CRM systems, data analytics, and sales methodologies preferred.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret complex data sets and develop actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with experience training and coaching sales professionals.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), CRM systems (HubSpot, NetSuite), and reporting tools (Power BI).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical applications for the sales team.
