The Leadership Development team is seeking an experienced instructional designer and facilitator to join the team! In this role you will be focusing on financial education and successor development initiatives. You will be creating and facilitating new synchronous and asynchronous training (ILT, eLearning, video, etc.); managing a variety of learning initiatives; and developing other training materials.

This position can be worked hybrid within our SW MO HUB location.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Develop, organize, and collaboratively deliver Leadership Development events and learning content for key talent, ensuring a positive learner experience and alignment with company priorities
  • Monitor and report on key talent event performance indicators, while ensuring alignment with Talent Development's learner experience priorities.
  • End-to-end design, facilitation, coordination, and management of courses, webinars, and workshops in both physical and virtual settings.
  • Development of instructional materials (e-learning, facilitators guides, job aids, reference guides, audio and video scripts, story boards, navigational text, assessments, etc.) that transform complex information into professionally written, interactive multimedia learning experiences.
  • Proactively use technology, industry best practices, external networking, and alternative learning methods to develop new content and continuously improve existing training.
  • Determine metrics and key skill indicators to measure success and sustainability of learning solutions.
  • Use learning expertise to develop innovative materials and experiences along the 70/20/10 spectrum of continuous learning: on-the-job learning, social learning, and traditional learning.
  • May assist less experienced peers.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree required or an additional 8 years of experience in instructional design.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience consulting with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and driving a collaborative approach to instructional design.
  • Experience in the design and development of digital instructional materials.
  • Experience facilitating virtual and in-person training.
  • 15% travel required.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Experience working with senior leaders on their development plan.
  • Experience in succession management.
  • Experience conducting learning needs analysis to identify solutions that would improve current or future performance.
  • Experience delivering learning events, including developing and following a project plan, coordinating with stakeholders, and contributing to a communication and promotion strategy.
  • Proficiency with a variety of authoring tools and learning technologies (Captivate, Articulate 360 Suite, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, Canva, LMS, etc.).
  • Proficiency with learning technology.
  • Applied knowledge of Instructional Design methodology and adult learning theories.
  • Strong knowledge of learning facilitation with varying audience levels.
  • Familiarity with inclusive design practices (Section 508, WCAG, learning preferences, cultural awareness, etc.).
