Overview
FSS is a general contractor focusing on healthcare, commercial, and higher education. FSS is experienced in laboratory renovation, infrastructure upgrades, and high-end tenant fit outs, with a geographical footprint covering the mid-Atlantic region of the US. Summary: FSS is looking is looking for a QA/QC Manager in the Allison Park, PA area.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for overall management of the CQC program and have the authority to act in all CQC matters
- This candidate is required to be on site at all times
- Responsible for submittals, hands on review of work in place, administration and execution of all meetings and reporting, documentation, and close-out of the project
- Interface with the customer and subcontractors
- Maintain daily logs and required daily documentation and obtain, review, approve, and process submittals
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
- Ability to interpret documents such as:
- Safety rules
- Operating and Maintenance manuals
- Procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
- Must be able to travel to the job site(s) as assigned
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Procore proficiency
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a QA/QC Manager or Project Manager / Superintendent Or five (5) years (or) a college degree in a related field
- Familiarity with Primavera P-6 CPM schedule or Microsoft Project
- OSHA 10 Certificate
- First Aid/CPR Certificate
