Responsibilities

The Digital and Photonics Center of Excellence (CoE) has an incredible opportunity for an Operating Manager (OM)! This role is at the heart of innovation, driving and owning the development of cutting-edge software for Realtime Oscilloscopes, Probes, and Accessories. As the OM, you will lead and manage a dynamic development team, supporting existing products and delivering groundbreaking software for New Product Introductions (NPIs).

You'll play a key role in delivering software components that accelerate Keysight's growth, enabling the rapid creation of industry-leading products and solutions. This is your chance to lead the development and deployment of software for Realtime Oscilloscope products and associated Probes and Accessories, ensuring we deliver world-class, high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
    • Team Leadership & People Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of engineers and professionals to achieve aggressive and challenging objectives. Provide guidance, coaching, and career development support to ensure individual and team success.

    • Project Management: Oversee day-to-day activities required for delivering and supporting high-quality software assets. Manage the entire development lifecycle, from planning and resource allocation to execution and delivery.

    • Strategic Collaboration: Interface with planners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to prioritize features, align on objectives, and deliver exceptional software products.

    • Process Implementation: Develop and implement management processes, tracking mechanisms, and risk management strategies to ensure the successful and timely execution of projects.

    • Product Innovation & Support: Support existing products while driving the creation of innovative software solutions for new product introductions. Ensure software is developed to meet high standards of performance and reliability.

    • Resource Planning & Optimization: Ensure optimal utilization of team resources to meet project timelines and organizational objectives. Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture within the team.


Qualifications

  • BS/MS/PhD in CS, SW Eng, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Self-Motivated with strong communication skills and a pronounced customer focus
  • Knowledge of Keysight Life Cycle (KLC) for complex HW/SW projects preferred
  • Able to develop with a global team while operating in an environment of autonomy
  • Highly effective people leadership and team-building skills
  • Experience in SW/GW development, with 5+ year's experience preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and to formally track details, issues, and risks of multiple projects
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology

Colorado pay range: MIN $ 141,000.00- MAX $236,000.00

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
