Position Title: Warehouse/Materials Specialist
Wage: $19.70/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 5:30am-2pm, some extended shifts may be necessary depending on workload QPS Employment Group is hiring a Warehouse/Materials Specialist for a company in Fort Atkinson, WI. You will be working in a controlled environment facility with air conditioning and heat. This is a contract to hire role on 1st shift with no nights and no weekends. Warehouse/Materials Specialist Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Follow established warehouse work instructions and procedures - Process international and domestic shipments, including documentation and logistics coordination - Manage inventory control activities, including cycle counting and inventory auditing - Perform material replenishment operations in a timely and efficient manner - Accurately process inbound shipments, ensuring accuracy of receipt - Operate powered industrial trucks and equipment - Participate in special projects or tasks as needed - Maintain appropriate 5S conditions, keeping warehouse aisles and locations clean and organized - May assist in training new employees or new processes with existing staff - Consult with the Supervisor on questionable cases involving material, quality, or procedure matters - Perform other duties as required Warehouse/Materials Specialist Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Familiarity with SAP, MS Suite, and Workday preferred - Prior warehouse experience and powered industrial lift truck certification preferred - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English - High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines - Ability to work effectively with others and maintain a positive attitude - Self-starter, motivated, engaged with or without supervision - Good communication skills, work ethic, and attendance QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
