What is the role about?
Rust Automation, a representative of Endress+Hauser Inc., is looking for a proactive, tech-savvy IT Specialist to join their team in West Jordan, UT. This role is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems while providing hands-on technical support to ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. Additionally, you'll collaborate with the marketing team on digital initiatives, including website management and SEO strategies. Which tasks will you perform?

• Install, configure, and deploy new computers, hardware, and software for end-users.
• Provide timely and effective technical support to staff, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
• Manage and maintain company IT systems, including servers, networks, and related infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot system failures or performance issues to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Regularly update and maintain IT systems, applying patches, updates, and upgrades for security and efficiency.
• Ensure all IT systems adhere to security protocols and monitor for potential security breaches.
• Identify inefficiencies in IT processes and implement effective technical solutions.
• Maintain and optimize the company website, ensuring performance and functionality.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance SEO and support online marketing efforts.
• Train users on new hardware, software, and system features to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.

What do we expect from you?
You will have (required):

• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to handle IT tasks independently.
• Familiarity with programming concepts or coding experience.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database management.

You may have (preferred):

• Experience with website management, SEO, and digital marketing strategies is a plus.
• A proactive, self-starter attitude with a focus on efficiency and problem-solving.
