Title: Human Resources Manager
Location: Irving, TX (on-site)
Work hour: 9:00am - 5:00pm
FLSA Status: Exempt, Direct-Hire, Full-Time
A leading global consumer packaged goods company is urgently seeking an a highly skilled and self-sufficient HR Manager to oversee all human resources functions and office administration for 50-employee organization. This is a hands-on role where you will manage HR operations independently, with support from one administrative staff member. You will play a key role in shaping company culture, ensuring compliance, and fostering an efficient workplace.
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee all HR operations and functions.
Administer employee benefits, including 401(k) programs and health insurance.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing to hiring and onboarding.
Provide guidance and support to management and employees on complex HR matters.
Offer HR insights to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regularly reviewing and updating HR policies.
Maintain up-to-date job descriptions and role requirements for all positions.
Oversee performance management and employee review processes.
Manage disciplinary actions and employee terminations in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Participate in executive, management, and staff meetings as an HR representative.
Lead specialized HR projects as needed.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Qualifications:
5+ years of HR experience in a company with 50+ employees.
At least 5 years of experience in a senior HR role.
Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance regulations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
Experience with Paychex is a plus.
HR Certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred but not required.
