GENERAL FUNCTION

The Associate Maintenance Manager partners on all facility maintenance, building services and facility related special projects and preventative maintenance programs. Partners with others and provides insight on matters of compliance, safety and environmental programs, and regulations. Partner with the appropriate leadership and vendors to ensure the effective execution of projects.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Responsible for scheduling facility preventative maintenance programs through vendor partners.
  • Insures that all equipment has proper safety devices/protection and is safe to operate and proper housekeeping practices are implemented.
  • Partner with landlord to ensure all exterior maintenance is complete and any interior remodeling/improvements are done with approval.
  • Monitors and maintains the facility maintenance budget.
  • Partners with Sr. Manager to oversee outside contractors/vendors to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Responsible for maintenance, training and execution of facility waste management.
  • Partners with Sr. Manager to ensure all regulatory standards are met throughout the facility. Including, but not limted to OSHA, NFPA, EPA , ANSI and local codes.
  • Responsible for executing and monitoring safety policies and procedures at the facility.
  • Partner with facility leadership to ensure standards are followed.
  • Maintains and executes the facility safety training program and reporting.
  • Interface with internal business partners regarding new product, equipment and process introductions, various safety initiatives as well as programs and practices.
  • Partner with Senior EH&S leaders, Asset Protection and Risk Management as necessary.
  • Collaborate on safety committee to help mitigate risks that could contribute to injuries or compliance issues and develop action plans to address.
  • Responsible for training and maintaining forklift/scissor lift/crane/pallet jack ceritfications for all required associates.
  • Organize and maintain all facility maintanance and EH&S records.
  • Works with facility manager to develop budgets.
  • Collaborates with other facilities and EH&S specialists on regulations and best practices.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Associates degree or relevant experience in engineering/maintenance-related or EH&S fields.
  • 3+ years relevant experience
  • Mechanical/Electrical/HVAC/Plumbing knowledge.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous supervisory experience


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Certified Safety Professional or other Safety certifications a plus(OSHA 30, CPR/AED, forklift trainer certified)
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering/maintenance-related field
  • Experience with Industrial Electrical, Plumbing,HVAC, Mechanical/Electrical Devices, Circuits, PLC and computer.
