Government Contracting Pro -When it comes to U.S. Government contracting, you have a wealth of experience as both a prime contractor and subcontractor across a variety of contract types for both services and supplies. You combine your advanced contracting expertise, business acumen and strategic mindset resulting in recommendations and decisions that effectively balance contractual obligations, applicable regulations, company objectives and customer priorities. As a Manager, Contracts, you will lead a small team of contract professionals while overseeing proposals, contracts, and agreements within one or more of OTECH's business portfolios. This role resides within the Contracts Department and reports directly to the Director of Contracts. Key responsibilities include: * Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and manage a small team to drive successful outcomes across various proposals, contracts and agreements, primarily in support of U.S. Government requirements. You'll provide contractual guidance and keep key stakeholders informed, fostering strong, collaborative relationships across the organization. * Proposal Support: Work closely with your team and colleagues in other departments to make informed decisions on pursuits, shape contract strategies for new opportunities and prepare proposals (both competitive and sole-source). Strategize and plan for negotiations in concert with the team. * Contract Administration: Coordinate with direct reports to advise colleagues on OTECH's contractual rights and obligations, as well as those of the customer, to enable the team to make fully informed decisions about contract execution. Ensure contracts are actively administered including managing constructive changes, submitting requests for equitable adjustments and ensuring all obligations are met by the parties. * Writing & Negotiating Contractual Documentation: Draft, review, analyze, revise, negotiate, summarize, and brief various types of contractual documentation including contractual correspondence. solicitations, contracts, Statements of Work, terms and conditions, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Other Transaction Agreements and other documentation necessary to achieve desired contractual outcomes. * Ensure Compliance & Scalability of Processes: Provide expertise and actionable feedback to matters such as improving processes to support the business' growth, ensuring compliance with regulations such as Truthful Cost or Pricing Data and protecting the company's intellectual property and data rights. Identifying contractual risks and proposing mitigations. * Training & Development: Foster continuous learning within the Contracts Department by developing training modules and guiding your team to stay engaged and deliver impactful results. Annualized pay rate for this position is $146,030 to $197,570. |
