We are currently hiring a Maintenance Planner and Scheduler in Milton, DE.
The Maintenance Planner and Scheduler is responsible for reviewing all incoming maintenance work requests, to ensure those requests are valid. Determine labor, parts, tools, equipment and materials required to complete job. Perform field inspections to determine estimated work hours to complete jobs by craft. Order stock and non-stock parts required for jobs. Develop weekly advance work schedules for maintenance teams in collaboration with maintenance supervisors, various operations teams and brewery planning team.
What You'll Brew:
- Responsible for supporting the functions of the Brewing, Packaging, Facilities, and Instrumentation Maintenance teams
- Developing and scheduling job plans and advance work schedules.
- Responsible for actively and accurately scoping jobs and ordering necessary parts for identified work orders and coordinating and scheduling manpower (both internal and external) and other necessary resources to allocated maintenance windows.
- Create and develop preventative and predictive maintenance plans and annual overhaul plans to ensure minimum downtime and maximize productivity throughout the brewery.
- Maintain Brewery maintenance database.
Develop and track backlogs.
Required Experience and Skills
- Position requires good technical, analytical, and communication skills as well as being capable of driving continuous improvement in processes.
- 2+ years manufacturing experience, preferably in a high-speed manufacturing environment
- 2+ years' experience in planning and scheduling of maintenance groups
Supervisory experience in a continuous improvement environment strongly desired - Proven project management experience
- Mechanical/ Electrical parts knowledge
- Blueprint or parts diagram reading knowledge
- Ability to work off-shift with a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and/or weekends
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
- All production roles are required to pass a pre-employment physical exam to comply with their specific role requirement(s)
- Certain roles may require the use of a respirator and passing the associated fit test
Ability to lift up to 50lbs, sometimes repeatedly - Regular walking and standing for long periods of time (up to 11 hours a day) on concrete, metal and grated surfaces
- Responsibilities may require crouching, stepping over, crawling under, bending, twisting, climbing and reaching above head and shoulders repeatedly throughout the day
- Responsibilities may require climbing flights of stairs, working from heights or on elevated platforms
Ability to wear assigned PPE (safety shoes, gloves, facemask, hearing protection and hard hat) - Established dexterity so you can handle materials, operate equipment and interface with computer systems with precision
- Some roles (e.g., forklift operator) may be required to sit for a prolonged period of time and have strong peripheral vision and depth perception

In accordance with pay transparency lawsthe pay rate for this role if hired is $42,900.00-$85,300.00.
