TSC's Production Division group is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer/Specialist based in Plymouth, MA to join our team in a fast paced, dynamic environment. As a Quality Assurance Engineer/Specialist, you will serve as a member of the Business Operations team, enabling workflows to meet deadlines, monitoring production processes, root cause and corrective actions, and ultimately ensuring high-quality output of products. Under the direction of the Production Manager and working closely with the Product Manager this role will span multiple facets of the business operations and quality teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to line management in a variety of functional areas, which may include finance, proposals, pricing, contracting, human resources, etc.
  • Provide expert guidance in accordance with ISO-9001-2015 industry standards.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of AS9100
  • Manages program and project implementation and makes significant contributions to department goals and planning efforts.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures across production processes to identify potential defects early on.
  • Maintain QMS system (CORE) of quality control activities, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and audit finding.
  • Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose and implement process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Researches, develops and writes content for documents as required for proposals
  • Directly assists assigned Program or Division Contracts lead with ensuring TSC coordinates compliance reviews with its contractual, statutory and regulatory corporate resources to satisfy any required obligations.
  • Prepares, maintains, reviews, and updates documentation to meet all program requirements (templates, model contracts, CDRLs, notification letters, etc)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field and 5+ years of industry experience
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance
  • Exceptional understanding of business operations and program management recurring tasks, reports, and workflows across supporting functional areas and operational teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience outlining and executing project objectives, goals, milestones, and completion
  • Previous experience and knowledge with US Government compliance for timekeeping and expense reports, contract clauses, or similar governance
  • Comfortable serving as focal point for coordinating with multiple geographically separated work centers in different time zones to achieve time sensitive deadlines for products, work plans, or deliverables
  • Strong attention to details; Excellent organization, planning skills, verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and get along with others.
  • Ability to quickly learn new scope of work and grow with a scaling team.
