THE ROLE

The Senior Manager, Investor Relations plays a key role in shaping AMD's financial communication strategy and strengthening relationships with the investment community. Reporting to the Senior Director of Financial Strategy and Investor Relations, this position blends financial analysis, market research, and strategic messaging to provide investors with clear, accurate, and timely insights into AMD's performance and long-term vision. Close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders ensures consistency in investor messaging, while direct engagement with institutional investors, analysts, and shareholders reinforces transparency and trust. Success in this role requires a strong ability to distill complex financial data into compelling narratives while operating in a high-visibility, fast-paced environment.

This high-profile role calls for a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of capital markets, investor sentiment, and the semiconductor industry. A strong ability to synthesize financial and industry data into actionable insights is essential, along with expertise in crafting compelling investor messaging. Exceptional communication skills enable effective engagement with analysts, executives, and institutional investors, building long-term trust and alignment with corporate strategy. A solutions-oriented mindset and adaptability are key to navigating evolving market conditions, balancing long-term planning with real-time decision-making. Success in this role depends on a proactive approach to strengthening relationships with key stakeholders to refine and elevate AMD's investor relations strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organize and participate in meetings, calls, and events with institutional investors and analysts, gathering feedback and addressing inquiries on AMD's performance and strategy.
  • Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual financial statements, earnings reports, and investor presentations to ensure alignment with company strategy.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor performance, and market dynamics, providing actionable insights for investor messaging. Conduct TAM modeling, CAPEX analysis, share analysis, and inventory tracking in collaboration with business unit teams.
  • Work with senior leadership to refine key messages for investor relations materials, ensuring alignment with AMD's long-term growth strategy.
  • Ensure investor communications comply with SEC regulations, including disclosures such as Form 8-K, 10-Q, and 10-K.
  • Track AMD's shareholder base, including institutional and retail investor activity, proxy voting, and investor sentiment. Analyze stock performance and analyst ratings to identify trends affecting AMD's IR strategy.
  • Partner with finance, FP&A, and business unit teams to ensure consistency in financial reporting and investor messaging.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Extensive experience in investor relations, equity research, financial planning & analysis, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, market research, and competitive analysis, particularly in the semiconductor or technology sector.
  • Proficiency in FactSet, StreetAccount, and other financial data platforms.
  • Familiarity with SEC reporting requirements and financial disclosure regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience drafting investor materials and corporate messaging.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with analysts, institutional investors, and internal business leaders.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • MBA or CFA designation is preferred.
