Youth Apprentice- Provider Relations

Job Summary The Provider Relations Youth Apprentice will see and experience the credentialing process for health care providers from initial hire, to first day at orientation, as well as how the workload ebbs and flows throughout the year. They will learn how the many internal and external departments work together to onboard a new health care provider and market them to the community. This role will also be involved in some data clean-up projects to further enhance our system as the source of truth. What you will do * Learn to navigate and help maintain credentialing database. * Aid with clinical and payor credentialing and credential maintenance. * Maintain expired or expiring credentials such as DEA certificates, state licenses, malpractice certificates, and boards certificates. * Help load primary source verifications (PSV) for credentialing files. * Scanning and filing to set up and take down for monthly Credentialing Committee meetings. Education Qualifications * High school student in the junior or senior grade level. Participating in the Youth Apprenticeship program in accordance with school criteria.
