Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our finance shared services team. This role is responsible for analyzing accounts receivable data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize cash flow, reduce delinquency, and improve overall risk management.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in data analysis tools, and the ability to collaborate with finance, IT, and collections teams. This position offers cross-functional visibility and requires the ability to support projects that optimize current processes and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Under direction from leadership, compile and organize reports from multiple ERP and financial systems for management review and decision making.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to accounts receivable, bad debt, and payment behavior.
  • Provide regular insights and reports to supervisors and management on collection effectiveness and activity.
  • Track and report on aging balances, dispute resolutions, and customer payment trends.
  • Ability to understand, interpret and document process maps and workflows within the Accounts Receivable (AR) department.
  • Work closely with AR teams to create data driven reporting that supports process improvements.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to automate reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to enhance system integrations and data accuracy for credit and collections functions.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.).
  • Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools
  • Familiarity with accounts receivable, credit, and collections processes.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies and drive process optimization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting
