VxRail Admin - Bedford, MA (Hanscom AFB) - Active Secret Clearance Required Information Technology

VxRail Admin needed for a Contract opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite in Bedford, MA (Hanscom AFB).

Contract Length: 6+ month contract, possibility to extend

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a VxRail Admin for a contract to provide remote guidance and technical expertise during the deployment of VxRail clusters across multiple sites. This role is stationed at Hanscom Air Force Base and is responsible for supporting and advising the a deployment team remotely. While the SME will not perform hands-on deployment tasks, they will offer critical technical support, answer questions, and troubleshoot issues throughout the deployment process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide remote technical support and guidance to the deployment team during VxRail cluster installations.
  
• Assist with VxRail administration, including configuration changes and best practices.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues remotely, ensuring smooth deployment operations.
  
• Answer configuration-related questions and offer expert advice on VxRail and VMware environments.
  
• Collaborate with on-site teams to ensure successful deployment and address any arising challenges.
  
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to a remote audience.
  

• Proven experience in VxRail administration and deployment processes.
  
• Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere and vSAN for managing virtualized environments.
  
• Ability to troubleshoot remotely and provide effective technical support.
  
• Familiarity with networking and storage configurations related to VxRail systems.
  
• Experience providing technical guidance and support in a remote capacity.
  
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
  
• Experience supporting secure configurations for VxRail or VMware environments.
  
• Understanding of DoD security requirements and guidelines (preferred but not required).
  
• Familiarity with basic security protocols within virtualized infrastructures.
  
• Prior experience in advisory roles providing technical oversight and troubleshooting.
