Position Summary: The President of Intelligence leads the vision, strategy, and innovation for the Intelligence strategy. Working with the leadership team to operationalize this vision and enable department goal setting in alignment with overall goals. Monitors progress and provides direction to increase organizational effectiveness and adapt to evolving customer needs. Acts as the spokesperson for Intelligence and develops and maintains key relationships inside and outside of Triumph. This role is ultimately responsible for the success of the Intelligence division.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Prioritization

  • Lead and ensure team accomplishes objectives set forth in the Intelligence strategic plan.

  • Develop, share, and cast clear short and long-term goals for growth and evolution that prioritize the needs of the customer at the center, as well as the goals of the organization.

  • Create benchmarks and KPIs as a whole and for direct reports to set and measure progress against goals, continuously improve effectiveness, and provide guidance and prioritization to team members.

  • Execute against the budget and provide input for projected growth.

Innovation and Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Understand the current market landscape, including competition in the industry and positioning, as well as current and emerging trends.

  • Lead innovation and ongoing product enhancement and create recommendations to retain customers, serve customers with excellence, boost customer success, and increase organizational effectiveness.

Triumph Financial Executive and Board Relations

  • Develop and maintain internal relationships with board members, all senior Triumph Financial leadership, and other key TFIN players.

  • Report on KPIs and progress against goals at board and key leadership meetings.

  • Listen to and incorporate counsel from senior leadership and board discussions.

Industry Relations and PR

  • Develop and maintain external relationships, including strategic partners, key industry leaders, and influencers to further the goals of the Intelligence Division.

  • Serve as the spokesperson and thought leader for the Intelligence division at meetings with key industry leaders and customers.

Team Culture and Vision Casting

  • Provide leadership support and direction to the Intelligence team in understanding the root cause of issues, escalated defects and provide leadership in implementing solutions.

  • Provide regular informal feedback, as well as formal feedback for performance reviews, and coaching for direct reports.

  • Demonstrate Triumph's values and core tenets.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's or master's degree.

  • 10+ years of freight, transportation, and/or logistics industry experience is required.

  • Previous experience in a position of leadership, providing extensive financial and operational knowledge.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Strong organizational skills, interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Demonstrated success leading diverse, cross-functional/interdisciplinary teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead other executive leaders.

  • Demonstrated ability to model ethical and leadership and business integrity.

  • Outstanding learning agility.

  • Ability to serve as a trusted confidant and ally to the CEO.

  • In-depth understanding of accounting principles.

  • Budget development.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced organization.

  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills.

  • Experience leading and executing large projects.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, comfortable with technology.

  • Superior analytical skill.
