Direct Patient Care 1.1 Interact professionally and with persons of all ages and from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, educational, racial and ethnic backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, lifestyles, and physical abilities. 2. Clinical Practice Operations 2.1 Ensure that the daily operations of the site/program are facilitated in accordance with YNHHS policies and procedures, maintain a safe and healing environment, and ensure smooth patient flow that meets the needs of patients. 3. Consultation/Teaching 3.1 Mentor/supervise and/or participate in projects/ work groups as assigned by supervisor. 4. Professional Development 4.1 Maintain and enhance knowledge base and skillset through educational opportunities and meet expectations set forth by State licensure, Hospital and departmental standards. Qualifications EDUCATION Master's Degree from an accredited school of social work. EXPERIENCE Clinical Social Worker II (LCSW II) with one year of supervisory experience and five years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (CT)/ Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (RI); or three years of supervisory experience and five years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (CT)/ Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (RI) LICENSURE Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the State of Connecticut, or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) from the State of Rhode Island, or those holding licenses from other states, will need an 'endorsement' and meet the State of Connecticut or State of Rhode Island license requirements. SPECIAL SKILLS Ability to perform independently and provide clinical practice in a health care setting; provide daily oversight to staff and participate in teaching within the department. Must have computer experience and knowledge of electronic medical record keeping, word processing, spreadsheet, and data entry systems. YNHHS Requisition ID 143125 |
