Intern - Deposit Operations

This position will provide an opportunity to work within the Deposit Operations Department of Needham Bank and work with a highly skilled team to gain insight into multiple areas of the department and help with a variety of tasks and projects as needed

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Participation in small to large projects that require skill in business modeling and the ability to balance multiple products/services in one or more technical environments
• Participation in the discovery and evaluation of new vendors and systems as related to Deposit Operations
• Identification and collaborative resolution of configuration and implementation issues
• Provide support for daily processing of files and quality control
• Perform research at a supervisor's request
• Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and evaluates/recommends technologies to promote departmental efficiency
• Participation in project teams to facilitate process improvement, system implementation, conversions and data management functions
• Attend meetings and take minutes

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Pursuit of a college degree in Business, Finance or related field
• Strong knowledge and aptitude for banking, bank regulations, payments, wires and customer service
• Interest in Banking preferred
