Overview

Nebraska Community Blood Bank (NCBB.ORG), a division of Innovative Blood Resources (www.innovativebloodresources.org), has been saving and sustaining lives since 1968. We are dedicated to connecting people who need life-saving blood with generous volunteers who give. Operating 4 donor centers and conducting dozens of blood drives each month, we are proud to be an independent nonprofit that supplies over 20 area hospitals and clinics with life-saving blood-from our community, for our community.



Responsibilities

Summary:

As Manager, Business Development, you will play a vital role in supporting NYBCe's life saving mission by expanding the base of blood drive sponsors through new account acquisition and existing account development monthly and annual blood donation collection goals within the assigned geography. You will engage with the local community, recruiting new partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with existing partners. This position is critical in reaching blood collection targets through effective recruitment strategies and various tools and techniques. The Manager, Business Development will work closely with Operations to coordinate the first blood drive by building strong customer relationships and flawless execution.

Job Responsibilities:

    Promote and Market: Drive new account creation and growth through dynamic sales and marketing programs.
  • Hit Your Collection Growth Goals: Meet and exceed monthly targets while maximizing NYBCe's resources.
  • Grow and Expand: Uncover new business possibilities, seek out new accounts, and explore new market segments.
  • Plan Effective Initial Blood Drives: Partner with local Account Managers and share responsibility to organize effective initial blood drives, ensuring smooth operations and clear communication with everyone involved.
  • Execute and Report: Implement our collections strategy, generate insightful reports, and find ways to boost collection volumes.
  • Enhance NYBCe's Presence: Boost our visibility by engaging with the community through events, memberships, and other Participate in media events by educating the community about the importance of blood donations,
  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with key accounts and the NYBCe's Customer Service Team to identify and act on growth opportunities for our products and services.
  • Continuous Improvement: Be a part of an organization that is dedicated to listening to the team's ideas on ways to improve processes and creating new tools to help you succeed.

Qualifications

Knowledge:

  • Expert knowledge in sales and business development techniques and
  • Knowledge of a variety of software applications (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Database Management
